Witness Statement
It was a hot sunny day in either August or July, I was off school for the summer holidays, I often went off on long walks on my own, this day I was walking through a nearby woods about a mile from my home.
I had noticed a small white orb in the fields, tagging along with me, this was not unusual, when I was younger I saw them often, they would follow around waist high but at a distance, bobbing along with no real speed, they never really did anything unusual, or at least I never noticed, when riding my bicycle they would follow & be above me at around the tree height.
As I'm walking through the woods this time I felt a severe pain in my right side, I crumpled up on the floor in agony, lost all my energy and went into a panic and had a coughing fit, and sweating terribly.
I was in too much pain to walk, I was told later my appendix was bursting, I cried out for help but no one came as was in the middle of nowhere, then I noticed the single orb that normally followed me was circling above my head, maybe 8ft above me as I lay on the ground, and 3 or 4 more had joined it, they were orange and red now in the dark of the woods, I had seen the orbs turn from white to red before when entering the woods, I could not give them much attention as was in too much pain. I don't remember them doing anything special other than circling and criss-crossing each other.
Panic set in and I forced myself to my feet and practically crawled home, I don't think they followed me or if they did I did not notice.
I got home and my mother had just finished work and called an ambulance, my appendix was removed within hours.
The strange part about this or at least for me was that I never saw the smaller tennis ball size orbs again, though from then on I saw giant size ones, normally orange and travelling in 3's normally about the size of a large van or bigger ones the size of a hot air balloon.
I have noticed when I'm either a bit down, ill or in pain or when I've lost a loved one I tend to get sightings, they seem to be attracted by such events.
